Alona Umansky and Aleksey Linetskiy are the creators of the Tin Box Letters. For many years they have created award-winning interactive experiences, games, and escape rooms. Storytelling is their passion, and most of their past projects have a strong story as a backbone of the experience.

One day they reminisced about letters they used to receive in their childhood. How excited they were to open up the envelopes. Alona remembered the long and detailed letters from her grandmother. They read as if they were short stories. Aleksey recalled how excited he was to read the letters from his parents when he was away during the summers. Such experience cannot compare to the short emails and texting that surround us today.

Both Alona and Aleksey write the stories and create puzzles for the Tin Box Letters. Alona is also behind the graphic design and illustrations, while Aleksey is handling the technology. They live in New Jersey, USA, together with their kids and a cat named Nix.
